Douvall’s appoints Fluorescent PR

Fluorescent PR has been appointed to handle the PR for luxury organic argan skincare range, Douvall’s. Founded by Alicia Douvall, the brand’s products do not contain sulphates, synthetic fragrances, animal derivatives, harsh detergents, propylene glycol, artificial colours, mineral oils, EDTA, or parabens. The collection is also cruelty free and eco friendly. The comprehensive collection includes argan oil cleansers, moisturisers, soaps, bronzing oil as well as travel and gift sets. The brand supports organic farmer’s and women’s cooperatives to improve life conditions in the community as well as long term empowerment. They also work on providing education for the children of the cooperatives families as well as making sure that all harvesting of the argan nut is sustainable and responsible. Ji Cheng appoints Forward PR

Forward PR has been appointed to handle the on-going UK press relations for Chinese designer Ji Cheng. A Shanghai Fashion Week headliner, the womenswear brand has 16 stockists, three own-label boutique, all of which are flagshipped in Shanghai. The brand's mainline collection blends Eastern influences with Western tailoring, while the AW15 PARAMOUNT collection features exotic feathers, sequins and tassels on eveningwear, as well as heavy ripe stitching, dragon motifs and mandarin collars are emblazoned on emperor robes, capelets and dress jackets. Other standout pieces include a fringed black leather biker jacket and matching skirt set and flapper dress. A diffusion range, ‘ZH by Ji Cheng’ compliments the offering with a range of luxury t-shirts, sweatshirts and skirts. Ji Cheng will be collaborating with Toyota Hybrid and Taylor Swift in August of 2015.

The East India Company to open a Tea Bar

The East India Company has announced that they are launching a Tea Bar in June at the company’s flagship store on Conduit Street, just off Regent Street in London. The company’s Tea Master, Lalith Lenadora curated the collection of teas by pairing contrasting blends. Ten of the flavours available at the Tea Bar are fine loose-leaf tea blends, a diverse selection of black, white, green, oolong teas and herbal infusions including the Staunton Earl Grey, Silver Tips White Tea with Jasmine and the Blend 68 – Tropical Punch, which can also be enjoyed as an iced tea. Customers can either sit in-store or order a tea to take away, with the takeaway cups printed in full colour with a historic East India Company picture of Queen Elizabeth 1. Prices range from £2.50 to £3.00.

Stila to launch Sun, Sea & Splash collection

Cosmetics brand Stila has announced the launch of its Sun, Sea & Splash collection for summer. The range includes the Aqua Glow Watercolor Blush (pictured above) which offers a weightless, water-based blush to provide a sheer splash of buildable colour. The formula also has a rejuvenating cooling effect and is available in five shades: Water Poppy (red), Rosewater (pale pink), Shimmering Lotus (golden pink), Water Lily (rose pink) and Water Blossom (pink violet). The new Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick is a creamy-matte, full-coverage lip colour that delivers intense moisture with bold, long-lasting colour in five bold shades: Venezia (bright red), Rosa (bubblegum pink), Amalfi (coral pink), Como (bright violet) and Bella (bright pink). Also forming part of the collection is the Aqua Glow Perfecting Primer, a light-weight, water-based primer that instantly cools, refreshes and moisturises skin, while decreasing the appearance of under eye puffiness; limited edition Aqua Glow Perfecting Bronzer, a lipid-replenishing sheer veil bronzer with a waterproof, light-weight gel formula with hyaluronic acid; and Stay All Day Contouring Bronzer, a matte-satin bronzer available in three shades: Light, Medium and Dark.

H&M unveils new beauty line

High street fashion retailer H&M has announced the relaunch of its beauty line, which will include a full range of make-up, haircare, bodycare and beauty styling essentials. Launching this autumn, the new beauty range will encompass seasonal trends and colours, will products available in over 900 stores worldwide and online. There will be new, dedicated beauty areas in stores for customers to experiment the products. The collection will comprise over 700 make-up items, with seasonal drops of new and limited edition colour palettes throughout the year. The new assortment, which will replace existing beauty products at H&M, will also include two subsidiary collections: a premium beauty line and a conscious range of Ecocert-approved sustainable products.
