Little Mix unveils debut fragrance GOLD MAGIC

Girl band Little Mix have announced the launch of their debut fragrance, GOLD MAGIC Eau de Parfum. Opening with a burst of fruit, the heart comprises notes of powdery violet and watermelon, while the base is musky and warm. The bottle has been created to be both modern and classic in shape, while an initialled charm hangs around the neck of the bottle. Each of the girls appear on the four faces of the box, which is designed in subtle tones of gold and bronze.

Encompassing a capsule collection of beach dresses, tunics, kaftans and blouses, PAMPELONE is inspired by St Tropez along the French Riviera. Founded by ex-fashion publicist Holly Anna Scarsella (née Stewart), the brand was created to fill a gap in the market for quality and well-designed beachwear. The aim was to create a brand which sat above the mass-produced high-street, but below designer brands. Luxury brand Grenfell relaunches & appoints Dust PR

Dust PR has been appointed by British luxury outerwear brand Grenfell to handle its relaunch with a remit that includes PR, social media, VIP, influencer seeding and events. Established in 1923 by the Haythornthwaite family in Lancashire, the brand began as a ‘wonder-fabric’ developed specifically to meet the outerwear needs of explorer and missionary doctor, Sir Wilfred Grenfell who agreed to lend the fine cloth his name. Over the following decades it was worn by British Royalty, racing car drivers, adventurers and aviatrixes, outdoorsmen, sportsmen and style icons including Cary Grant and Mae West. Grenfell, which is manufactured by its own factory in London,  will be launching its new e-commerce website in August. Tying in with a collaborative collection yet to be announced, the brand will be participating in the re-enactment of Sir Malcolm Campbell’s 1925 150 mph land-speed record at Pendine Sands, Wales on 21 July and making an appearance at Goodwood Revival in September.

WeAr Global magazine to launch fashion trade show

Global fashion trade title WeAr Global magazine has announced the launch of WeAr Select, a new global fashion show aimed at underpinning London as a fashion capital. The show will take place on 9-10 January 2016 at Old Billingsgate, welcoming international buyers, merchandisers and media to explore a hand-picked selection of the best, most creative up and coming designers as well as relevant leading established brands. Along with its trend partner WGSN, the team will hand-select some of the very best the world has to offer in fashion designers - from the US, UK, Paris, Italy, and Tokyo to the less well-known areas such as mainland China, Brazil, Mexico, Thailand and Korea to name just a few. There will be a maximum of 300 designers on show but each is limited to displaying only key items, or the 'story-tellers' of their new collection. Timed to kick off the season, WeAr Select will enable designers to tell their brand story and show couture, premium denim, high-end sportswear and footwear examples before their full collections are released at the international tradeshows.
